Summary of a Working Student

Responsibilities include:

  • Feeding, Grooming and Stall Cleaning
  • Caring for injured horses
  • Laser and Light Therapy of horses
  • General paddock and barn maintenance

  • Attending the UNH lecture series when available
  • Attending the four day Equine Affair Symposium in W. Springfield, MA.
  • Attending a holistic care lecture
  • Auditing lessons of well know instructors
  • Competing at various events/horse shows
  • Riding in the Lucinda Green and David & Karen O'Connor clinics
  • Trips to UNH and Ledyard Farm to practice cross-country riding
  • Auditing two day Lilo Fore and Lendon Grey clinic in NY
  • Having your horse's energy work done
  • Auditing the chiropractic / acupuncture veterinary work of several horses
  • Observing and learning about the latest methods of shoeing horses
  • Learning about and using Laser, Light, Sound and Magnetic Therapy to treat and maintain health
  • An introduction to homeopathic / natural remedies
  • Exposure to a methodology based on positive thinking, responsibility, and self-discipline
  • Teaching ten to fifteen lessons per week

These only scratch the surface of the opportunities that await you. You will be amazed at how much progress you and your horse will achieve. Lisa's teaching method is systematic and it produces great results in a short period of time. Lisa focuses on continuing her education so that you will be up to date in all aspects of your Equine education.
